Beauty in the Eye of the Beholder
On July 4, President Trump signed and enacted H.R. 1, which is labeled as the One Big Beautiful Bill Act or OBBBA. The new law will set in motion tax and spending policy changes that could reverberate for many years. How “beautiful” the bill is may depend on one’s point of view. With 870 pages and an extremely fast pace for passage, there will definitely be winners and losers. Insurers may consider taking action now to ensure they fall on the right side of the equation.
